I’m a multi-disciplinary artist. I got my start in sound in the 90’s. Signed to Flying Lotus’ label “Brainfeeder” in 2010. I create 2d and 3d animations professionally, and I work as a web developer and designer for the City of Chicago. I’m always working on new projects, and I’m always interested in collaborating/participating in more.

I’m a writer and editor based in Chicago.

I picked up guitar at age 12 and immediately started composing my own songs. I attended the University of Chicago where I studied composition. After college, most of my music effort went towards writing songs and performing in bands in Chicago. Following the COVID-19 lockdown, I attended the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program where I studied under Emmy award-winning composer Hummie Mann. There, I combined my preexisting knowledge of theory and composition with studies in writing for film.

I am a jazz musician by training, but I also have extensive experience with orchestral, rock, electronic, and world music. I am equally comfortable leading musicians from the bandstand as a conductor or creating my own digital instruments for use in scores. I love all types of film, but my favorite genres are psychological thrillers, science fiction, and all types of independent film. My favorite film composers include Mica Levi, Theodore Shapiro, Johnny Greenwood, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Nicholas Britell.

Jared Forth writes music for films, television, games & other multimedia productions. He is passionate about harmony and how music can be used to capture the spectrum of human emotion. His passions also include the art of storytelling and the power of music to communicate a narrative without words.

Raised in the Chicagoland area, Tim Corpus earned his bachelor of music degree in percussion performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and received his master of music degree in music composition from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford. As an internationally performed composer, his compositions have been heard across four continents.

Highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, RHA Gallery in Ireland, Federal Justice Cultural Center of Brazil, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Chicago Cultural Center. In addition to concerts, he has been featured on CNN Money, the Sound of Silent Film Festival, 98.7 WFMT, the Connecticut Historical Society and Classical King FM: Second Inversion.

His diverse career in the arts has included work off the stage as an Executive Director, Production Manager and an educator with Loyola University Chicago and Chicago City Colleges.

As a composer for visual media, he has written scores for silent films, The Hipster and the Cat, and LIFE. Both have been performed live multiple times. Music has also been composed for the Aquarium of the Pacific, University of Chicago Medicine, Breastfeeding USA, and more. His work with video games as a composer and sound designer includes work in Unity and Unreal Engine. Most recently he is the composer and sound designer for Ira, Act I: Pilgrimage, due out in early 2021.

Josh McCausland’s work approaches visual reality from its own unique angle.

As both a videographer and graphic designer, Josh is comfortable reconciling the real with the imagined, and it shows in what he creates. His work is refreshing, and exhibits a cleanliness that is never too removed from humanity.

Healing plays a large part in creation for Josh as “an outward expression for internal struggles.” Art is his way of continuing to exist “as a child in the living room sketching on the floor, with no restrictions and no worries.”

It is this feeling of freedom that Josh’s work truly captures, allowing everyone who interacts with it a much-needed moment of peace in its simple beauty and effortless elegance.

In his pursuits, Josh has completed a BFA at Cumberland University with a major in Entertainment Design and a minor in film studies. He developed his own film company, iQ Flicks during college and now maintains his small business while working full-time for Relativity creating in house video work.
